| VII Deadly Sins: Cast |

Kash
Goins
(Writer / Director) Kash Goins is a Delaware resident who was born and raised in South Philly as the youngest of five boys. He has always had a penchant for acting and producing plays, evident by the improv skits and impromptu plays he would "produce" on the streets of Point Breeze and Moore with family and friends as a grade school attendant. He didn't pursue his first formal acting experience until he was a Junior at Lincoln University, and shortly after graduation he was fortunate to gain work as a member of the Freedom Theatre Rep, where he was directed by mentor Walter Dallas in “Sparkle,” The Musical,” “Lazarus,” “Unstoned,” and “The Bluest Eye.”
In 2008 Kash founded GoKash Productions and has mounted two original self-written plays, the 2009 NYC Downtown Urban Theatre Festival Best Play winner “VI Degrees” and the hilarious comedy “Man, I Shoulda Put A Ring On It!”. Goins has just completed his adaptation of "VI Degrees" to a short film and the product is sure to gain national exposure for the GoKash Productions movement.
Not one to take a break, early 2010 has been an active time for Kash, starting with the Director / Actor / Co- Producer role in Aliya Tene's hilarious Tryna Get to Heaven on 15 Cents. In addition, he had his debut in March at Wilmington Drama League in the role of Gabriel in August Wilson's "Fences". The remainder of the Spring will include a re-visit to the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival with his just completed sequel to VI Degrees titled "VII Deadly Sins", followed by the Philadelphia premiere of "Man, I Shoulda Put A Ring On It!" and another honored directorial endeavor with Cheril Clarke and her critically acclaimed stage play "Intimate Chaos". In the late summer, Kash will mount a stage adaptation of Author April Walker's newly released novel "More than one Way to Skin a Dog". The stage play will be titled "Catch a Dog, Skin a dog... How Men Cheat!"
There is so much more to come, and as is apparent in his well known battle cry "Let's Get It!", it doesn't appear that that halting of this powerful entertainment movement is in the immediate future.”

Chris Davis
(Rich) Christopher Feliece Davis is the oldest of five brothers and two sisters and was born in Camden, New Jersey. My mother and father are both ministers so I spent most of my life in church. My family moved around a lot so I’ve lived in a couple different places. During my experience moving around I have learned a lot in our travels. I currently attend Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Theatre Arts and Dramatic Criticism, which concentrates in black drama. Also, I am a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, holding the position as Vice President.
In Creative and Performing Arts High School, I was a member of R.O.T.C. and also a defensive end of the varsity football team. Upon entering college I realized my talent for writing. I can write poems, songs, and short stories. Growing up I told my mother I was a jack of all trades, which included singing, acting, dancing, cooking, playing instruments, and much more. However she said, “ If you’re a jack of all trades you are a master of none”. So, I decided to focus on the art of acting and keeping everything else as a hobby.
My goal for the future is to continue my lifelong desire to be an actor, whether it be furthering my education in graduate school or beginning a career. I am grateful for my theatre education at Cheney University and training for what is to come after graduating entering the real world. I would strongly encourage anyone who wants to be in this business to start on the stage. I will be finishing my college career in May of 2009. Upon graduation I will be moving to the New York metropolitan area in December of 2009. I am proud to say that I am truly ready to focus entirely on my career.

Maurice Tucker
(Police Officer) Philly born and bred, Maurice (Reece) found himself at Freedom Theatre one day after work, and grew an appreciation from there. Some of his previous work included playing as “Zooman” and “Emmett Tate” in “Zooman and The Sign” by Charles Fuller; also as “Diab” in one of Kash Goins earlier original plays titled “Who You With”. After time away from the theatre and all of the necessary life experiences that go with it, he embraced the opportunity to play “Rich” in VI Degrees and was part of the cast in the award winning performance in the Downturn Urban Theatre Festival in New York City in 2009. The Rich role was also reprised in Kash Goin’s film adaption of VI Degrees as well.
